About the race
The race.
The Kennedy Kids Foundation hosts its 4th annual 5K and 8K run on September 13, 2026, at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. Both distances start at 7:00 AM, with packet pickup available race morning from 6:00–7:00 AM at Farrell Hall in the Campus Mall area, or early the day before (September 12, noon–4 PM) at a location in Miami. The race benefits teen mental health awareness and suicide prevention. All finishers receive medals; additional awards include cash prizes ($500 total for top three overall finishers) and medals for first, second, and third place male and female winners in each age division. A virtual race option is available for those unable to participate in person.
