The race.
The Hair Peace and Hope 5K Run/Walk takes place on October 24, 2026, at Miramar Regional Park in Miramar, Florida. Registration opens at 6:00 a.m., with the race starting at 7:30 a.m. This 5K fundraiser supports Women of H.O.P.E., which assists individuals with Mixed-Connective Tissue Disease and other autoimmune conditions through medical aid, hair prosthesis provision, and emotional support. The first 300 registrants receive race t-shirts and finisher medals. A virtual option allows participants to complete the 5K independently and submit logged miles via running app screenshot to receive their shirt and medal by mail.
