How much work does setup require?

It is concierge. You provide the event and organizer details, then review the configured page, gallery, sponsor treatment, and athlete path before launch.

Can the race keep using its existing registration provider?

Yes. External mode is the default path when you want to add PodiumBase around the race without migrating registration.

What happens after the first event?

Use the event as the reference point for the next one. Organization settings, repeat-event workflows, photographer coordination, sponsor treatment, and reporting can become more consistent over time.
