Kid's First Turkey Trot 2026

The race.

Kid's First Turkey Trot takes place on November 28, 2026, in Elizabeth City, NC, at Waterfront Park. The 5K begins at 9:00 AM and the 1-mile family fun run starts at 10:00 AM. Race fees for the 5K are $25 before July 19, $32 before October 31, and $40 after October 31. The 1-mile run costs $15 before October 31 and $20 after. The 5K offers awards in multiple categories including top overall male and female, top team, top 3 in age divisions (kids/teens 17 and under, and adults in brackets through 60+). Swag bags are guaranteed only to 5K registrants before October 31. All race proceeds benefit Kids First Child Advocacy Center.
