Krug Castle Challenge 2026

The race.

The Krug Castle Challenge takes place October 10, 2026, at Krug Park in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Participants can run a 1-mile distance, a 3.6-mile distance, or a 6.1-mile distance, with races formatted as timed loops around the park. Finishers of the 3.6-mile and 6.1-mile distances receive commemorative medals, and those completing distances beyond 6.1 miles earn a Challenge Medal. Winners in three categories—King, Queen, and Nonbinary—will be crowned at the event's conclusion. Eighty percent of race proceeds benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, with the remaining twenty percent supporting Knot-4-Profit Collaborations. Participants should use the lower southwest side lot accessed from St. Joseph Avenue or street parking on a first-come, first-served basis.
