Lake Max Triathlon and Duathlon 2026

The race.

The Lake Max Triathlon and Duathlon takes place August 8, 2026, in Culver, IN. The adult triathlon starts at 8:30 a.m. and includes a 400-meter swim, 11-mile bike, and 5K run; the adult duathlon features a 1,600-meter run, 11-mile bike, and 5K run. Both events are USAT sanctioned and offer team options (2–3 participants). Kids races begin at 10:15 a.m. in age groups 5–7, 8–10, and 11–12 with scaled distances. Pre-registration is required by August 6 at 8 a.m. ET; individual race fees are $70 (shirt guaranteed if registered by July 21) or $80 (July 22–August 6). Finishers receive race shirts, chef-prepared meals, and access to massage therapy and a beer garden. Age-group awards go to the top 3 in triathlon and top 5 males and females in duathlon; all kids receive medals.
