The race.
The Lake Metroparks Pirate Triathlon takes place August 2, 2026, in Fairport Harbor, OH, with a 8am start. Participants choose between a swim or kayak option (500m swim in Lake Erie or 2km paddle), followed by a 20km bike on paved roads and 5km run. Team relay options are available for both swim and kayak formats.
