Lickety Splitz Ice Cream Run – Add Some Sweet Fun to Your Summer!

Get ready for a sweet summer run with the Lickety Splitz Ice Cream Run! This fun, fast, and family-friendly event is the perfect way to celebrate fitness, community, and a little post-race ice cream.

Starting and finishing at Sagebrush Community Church, the scenic loop course takes participants through Albuquerque’s beautiful North Valley and Bosque trails. Choose your distance, bring your family and friends, and enjoy a summer event made for runners and walkers of all ages.

All registered participants receive a stylish event T-shirt and a custom finisher medal. Overall and age group awards will be presented, and everyone can look forward to ice cream and other goodies at the finish line.

Proceeds from the Lickety Splitz Ice Cream Run help support the construction of churches and community ministry projects in developing countries around the world. By participating, you are not only enjoying a fun, family-friendly event but also helping to bring hope, faith, and support to communities in need. Every registration helps make a meaningful difference — one step, one smile, and one community at a time.

EVENT INFORMATION

EVENT LOCATION: Sagebrush Community Church 6440 Coors Blvd. NW Albuquerque, NM 87120

Event Schedule: July 25, 2026 10K: 8:00 A.M 5K. 8:10 A.M. Kids K: 9:00 A.M.

PACKET PICKUP: July 24, 2026 3:00 to 600 p.m. FLEET FEET SPORTS North Towne Plaza 5901 Wyoming Suite R Albuquerque NM 87109

PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS RACE-DAY REGISTRATION. PARTICIPANTS WHO REGISTER AFTER NOON, FRIDAY, 7/25/25, MAY PICK UP THEIR PACKET ON RACE DAY BETWEEN 7:00-7:30 A.M. ON THE EAST SIDE OF SAGEBRUSH COMMUNITY CHURCH.

All events will start on time. Race-day registration and post-race activities will be held near the finish line. This race is a Timing Chip finish. The "official time" will start when the gun/horn goes off. All participants must wear a timing chip/bib to be included in the results and be eligible for Overall and Age Group Awards. The event bib MUST always be worn on the front of the person and be visible.

Bathroom Facilities:

Bathrooms are located near the start/finish. Please allow plenty of time to get to the start.

Race (Bib) Number Requirements

Each participant will receive a Race (Bib) number that must be worn on race day. DO NOT alter your race number in any way. Your bib number must be visible and worn on the front of all clothing during the entire race. Bib numbers are non-transferable and MUST be worn by the runner to whom it is assigned.

Medical Support:

Medical staff members will be ready to assist you at any time. Radio communications personnel will be positioned at every aid/water station along the course. The event officials have the right to withdraw any runner from the race who appears distressed or at risk. If you have a health or medical problem at the Finish Line, please notify event officials or volunteers. Please cooperate if you are asked to go for a checkup. If you need help at any point, please ask! If you cannot finish the race, please notify a race official with your bib number so medical personnel know. Also, please hydrate throughout the day and at the water station along the course.

Finish Information:

The overall and division award winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on race day, immediately following Kids K.

10K: Overall prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women determined by gun time. Age group prizes will be given to the top three finishers in the following categories for men and women: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70-70, 80+. Award times will be determined by gun time.
