Lighthouse 5k Series August 26, 2026

The race.

The Lighthouse 5K Series hosts a 5K run/walk on August 26, 2026, at 8 AM in Corolla, NC, organized by The OBX Running Company and presented by Brindley Beach Vacations. The race starts and finishes at The Whalehead Club (1100 Club Rd, Historic Corolla Park). Registration fees are $45 for adults and $40 for youth 17 and under; walk-up registration and packet pickup occur race morning from 6:50–7:50 AM at the start line. All participants receive an event t-shirt, finisher medal, and chip timing. Awards are given to the top 3 male and female overall finishers, first place Masters (40+) by gender, and first place Youth (14 and under) by gender. The event is walker and stroller friendly, and service dogs are permitted.
