Loaves and Fishes and Veterans Services of the Carolinas Run for Recovery 2026

The race.

This race benefits Loaves and Fishes of Beaufort, a residential substance abuse recovery program, and Veterans Services of the Carolinas. Participants can run a 5K or walk 50 yards on November 14, 2026, in Beaufort, NC. The USATF-certified course runs down historic Front Street. Race packets are available for pickup on Friday, November 13 from 5–7 p.m. at Beaufort by the Sea Community Church, or race morning at John Newton Park. Top three overall finishers and top finishers in each age group (12 and under through 70+) earn medals. A post-race breakfast follows at Ann Street United Methodist Church. Registration is $25 per person through November 1 ($30 after); groups of four or more pay $15 per person through November 1 ($30 after); active military receive a $15 rate. Those registering by November 1 enter a raffle.
