About the race
The race.
The Glow in the Park 5K takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Liberty, Missouri, benefiting the Liberty Parks & Rec Foundation Youth Scholarship Program. The 5K course begins at 8 p.m. at the Liberty Community Center and runs through Westboro and Canterbury Park. This inaugural event welcomes runners of all ages and abilities. Participants are encouraged to wear bright gear and glowing accessories. All race proceeds support youth scholarships to ensure financial barriers do not prevent children from accessing parks and recreation programs.
