Mercer County Food Bank's Pie Day 5K! 2026

The race.

Mercer County Food Bank hosts the Pie Day 5K on Saturday, August 1, 2026, in Hermitage, PA. The 3.1-mile run begins at 9:00 a.m., with registration starting at 7:30 a.m. A free kids fun run for children ages 5 and under starts at 8:30 a.m. The race benefits the food bank, which assists nearly 16,000 county residents annually. All participants receive a pie, and awards are given to top overall finishers, masters competitors (50+), and top three finishers in age groups ranging from 9 and under through 70+. Registration costs $20 pre-event or $22 same-day; a race t-shirt is included with early registration. A pie eating contest follows the race.
