Murray Lender 5K Bagel Run 2026

The race.

The JCC of Greater New Haven hosts the Murray Lender 5K Bagel Run on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Woodbridge, Connecticut. The USA Track & Field-certified 5K course starts at 9:30 a.m. from the JCC Campus at 360 Amity Road. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m., with a Kids Costume Race at 8:45 a.m. and a two-mile Family Fitness Walk at 9:30 a.m. All pre-registered participants receive free race t-shirts if registered before September 1, and early registration before August 24 saves 20 percent on race fees. Post-race festivities include bagel medals for all finishers, bagels and refreshments from Katz's Deli, awards for top three finishers overall and by age group, free on-site massages and stretching, and a block party with a running company sidewalk sale. Free babysitting is available from 9 to 11 a.m. for children ages 2–8. Early bib pickup is available at Woodbridge Running Company with times to be announced.
