Neck of the Woods Adventure Race 2026

The race.

The Neck of the Woods Adventure Race takes place October 24, 2026, in Huntersville, NC, starting at 760 Craft Works. Participants compete solo or in teams of up to four, navigating approximately 30 miles total by bike and on foot within a five-hour window (7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.). The race is a checkpoint-based adventure combining biking on paved roads and greenways with optional mountain bike trail sections, plus trekking segments. Teams earn points by locating mandatory and optional checkpoints marked on provided maps, with scoring based on points earned and time used. Entry costs $40 per person, with all proceeds benefiting the Firefighters Burned Children's Fund. Awards are given in solo and team categories.
