Night Moves Trail Races 2026

The race.

Night Moves Trail Races takes place September 12, 2026, at Stephen F. Austin State Park west of Houston. Runners choose from five distances: 1 mile, 5K, 10K, half marathon, or full marathon on wide trails composed primarily of gravel and dirt with moderate elevation changes. All participants must bring their own light and hydration device; the course is marked with reflectors and ribbons. Packet pickup, start, and finish occur at the group dining hall, with an additional water refill station at the halfway point. Parking is available along the park road near the dining hall area.
