About the race
The race.
The NOAC Turkey Day Race takes place on November 26, 2026, in New Orleans City Park, with races starting and finishing at Tad Gormley Stadium. Participants can choose between a 5-mile run/walk or a half-mile kids' run/walk. Race day registration and packet pickup open at 6:30 AM, with the kids' race beginning at 8:00 AM and the 5-mile race at 8:30 AM. An award ceremony follows at 10:00 AM. Finishers receive t-shirts, available while supplies last for those registered by November 25, 2025. Proceeds benefit Spina Bifida of Louisiana.
