The race.
The North County Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving morning in San Diego, featuring a 5K race starting at 7:30 AM and a 1K Kids Fun Run at 8:45 AM. All proceeds support Active Kids Alliance, which provides sports scholarships to children in need. The event has previously helped more than 80 families access youth sports programs.
