The race.
OADAY 5K / REMEMBRANCE WALK takes place August 29, 2026, at South County Regional Park in Punta Gorda, Florida. The 5K run/walk starts at 7:30 a.m., followed by a 1-mile remembrance walk at 8:45 a.m., both using chip timing. Registration opens online at $25 (with running club discounts available) or $45 day-of; children under 14 are $20. Packet pickup is available Thursday, August 27, or race morning starting at 6:15 a.m. Finishers receive a Sport Tek shirt, with tank tops available for an additional $5. Awards include medals for top-3 finishers in age groups ranging from under 14 through 80-plus, plus overall and masters categories.
