OHS Paws in the Park 5k run & 1 mile walk 2026

The race.

Oconee Humane Society hosts its second annual Paws in the Park 5K run and 1-mile walk on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at South Cove County Park in Seneca, SC. The 5K begins at 8:30 a.m., with the 1-mile walk starting shortly after. Registration costs $30 and includes a race T-shirt, race packet, refreshments, and access to the post-race party with music and awards. The 5K awards recognize the top three finishers in male and female categories. Packet pickup occurs Friday, September 25 from 3–6 p.m. or Saturday morning from 7–8 a.m. Registration closes September 10 to guarantee a shirt. Well-behaved dogs on short leashes are welcome; strollers and walkers are permitted but should start at the back for safety. Funds support Oconee Humane Society programs.
