Oktoberfest Races: 10k run and 5k run/walk 2026

The race.

The Silverton Runners Club and Mount Angel Oktoberfest jointly host 5K and 10K races on September 20, 2026, in Mount Angel, Oregon. Both events start and finish at Kennedy High School track, with courses that include road sections through Mount Angel and gravel portions. Online registration closes September 19 at noon; day-of registration runs 7:00–8:45 a.m. Packet pickup begins at 7:00 a.m. race morning at Kennedy High School. Every finisher receives a pint glass and complimentary beer ticket for the Oktoberfest. Registrants can purchase race t-shirts before September 1 to guarantee availability. Race proceeds benefit Kennedy, Silverton, and Gervais middle and high school track and cross country programs. The 10K course officially closes at 10:30 a.m.
