The race.
The Optimist Club of Coronado's 2nd Annual Crown City Summer Fitness Challenge runs from July 4 through Labor Day. Participants log hours of activities including running, biking, walking, swimming, and tennis via a web page, with Bronze through Diamond achievement levels based on weekly hours. An awards celebration takes place the Saturday morning after Labor Day at Spreckels Park.
