OUTLAST AUSTIN 2026

The race.

OUTLAST Austin is a trail endurance event held December 19, 2026, in Dripping Springs, TX, organized by Texas Outlaw Running. Participants choose between a 6-hour challenge (six 5K loops) or a 12-hour challenge (twelve 5K loops), with each lap starting on the hour and must be completed within 60 minutes to continue. The course covers trail terrain with natural elevation and varied conditions. All finishers receive a premium event shirt; completing 4–5 laps earns a patch, while finishing all 6 or 12 laps earns a 6-inch or 12-inch medal respectively. Top male and female finishers by combined 5K time win divisional awards, and fastest combined times are ranked on the national leaderboard with the national champion receiving $1,000. Aid stations provide water, hydration, and snacks at basecamp; participants should bring their own hydration system and fuel between laps.
