The race.
Paddle for Troops is a stand-up paddleboard race held September 19, 2026, in Surf City, NC, benefiting local veterans. Three distances are offered: a timed 5K, a timed 10K, and a non-timed 3K fun paddle. The event starts and finishes at Sears Landing Grill & Boat Docks on Roland Avenue. Registration is available online before the race or in-person at packet pickup and throughout race day. Parking is provided at Sears Landing lots and nearby streets. All race proceeds support veterans and their families through the Paddle 4 Troops nonprofit organization.
