About the race.

The Park 2 Park 5 Miler takes place on July 4, 2026, in Normal, Illinois. The 5-mile race starts at 7 a.m., with the course closing at 8:30 a.m. (18-minute per mile pace). Packet pickup occurs on July 3 from 4–6 p.m. at 305 S Linden Street or on race morning from 6–6:45 a.m. at Fairview Park. Runners who register by June 18 at noon receive a race shirt. The course includes three water stations. Awards go to overall male and female winners and the top three finishers in each age group from 14 and under through 70+; awards are distributed near the finish line starting at 8 a.m. with no formal ceremony.
