The race.

Parkinson's Awareness Run/Walk takes place April 12, 2026, in Fredericksburg, VA, benefiting the YMCA Parkinson's/Therapeutic Wellness Department and the local Parkinson's Association. Participants can choose between a timed 5K that combines trail and pavement, or a 1-mile paved course that is wheelchair accessible and untimed. The 5K is open to ages 12 and up. Register by midnight March 20 to receive a race t-shirt. All proceeds benefit the Parkinson's community.
