Planet NY Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K 2026

The race.

Planet NY Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K takes place September 19, 2026, in Forest Hills, NY, at the Unisphere near Flushing Meadow Corona Park. Participants choose from three distances: a half marathon consisting of four 3.27-mile loops, a 10K with two 3.1-mile loops, or a 5K covering one loop. The half marathon starts at 9:30 AM and the 5K and 10K start at 9:45 AM. Race-day packet pickup runs from 8:00 to 8:45 AM. Each loop is chip-timed with real-time digital tracking and live streaming. Finishers receive a technical T-shirt with full-color logo and die-cast medal; top three overall and age-group winners (ages 14–19 through 65+) earn plaques. On-course support includes water stations with water, gels, and Gatorade, plus porta potties and public restrooms. Post-race amenities include fresh-baked bagels with spreads, organic peanut butter, and butter. Registration proceeds support B-Local NYC, a nonprofit promoting social impact businesses.
