Pleasanton Run for Education 2026

The race.

The Pleasanton Run for Education takes place April 19, 2026, at Pleasanton Middle School in Pleasanton, CA, offering multiple distances: a 10K (6.2 miles) starting at 8:00 am, a 5K (3.1 miles) and 2-mile walk starting at 8:10-8:15 am, and a kids' 1/4-mile challenge for ages 3-10 starting at 9:20 am. Race packet pickup occurs Saturday, April 18 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the school, or on race day starting at 6:30 am. Entry for the 5K and 10K includes a performance t-shirt, finisher medal, and post-race refreshments; the 2-mile includes the same but is untimed with no awards. The 5K and 10K feature age group awards (top three per gender in each division) and overall awards. Kids' challenge participants receive a t-shirt, bib, and finisher medal. Arrive at least one hour early for parking, which is available at nearby locations including the Pleasanton Library and downtown lots.
