The race.

The PRA Miner Gold Rush takes place on October 3, 2026, in Broomfield, CO, offering a 5K race and a 1-mile fun run. The 5K begins at 9 a.m. with packet pickup starting at 8 a.m. A Fall Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the high school grass field, featuring the 1-mile fun run, panning for gold, carnival games, an obstacle course, food trucks, and other activities. All proceeds benefit Prospect Ridge Academy, a K-12 public charter school. Race registration fees vary by deadline, ranging from $25 to $55 for the 5K and $25 to $40 for the 1-mile fun run. Fall Festival wristbands are included with race registration or available separately for $15 if preordered online.
