About the race
The race.
Race For Justice takes place September 7, 2026, at Joe Davis Stadium in Huntsville, Alabama. Participants can choose from a 9.3-mile run, 6.2-mile run, 3.1-mile run, or 1-mile fun run, or select the Sleep In For Justice option. All race options, including the virtual Sleep In For Justice choice, benefit the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program and support civil legal services for low-income individuals in the area. The 10K and 5K courses hold USATF certifications (codes AL25024JE and AL25025JE respectively). Finishers receive race shirts.
