The Race For Permanent Sanctuary Family Fun Run takes place November 7, 2026, at Brazos River Park in Sugar Land, Texas, benefiting The Sanctuary Foster Care Services. Participants can choose between a 5K run/walk or a 1K kids' race (ages 12 and under). The event starts at 7:45 a.m. with the 5K beginning at 8:40 a.m. and the kids' 1K at 8:10 a.m. Both distances are chip-timed, and all child finishers receive medals. Pre-race packet pickup is available November 5–6 at The Sanctuary Foster Care Services office, with race-day pickup from 6:45–7:30 a.m. An awards ceremony follows at 9:45 a.m., and food and music are provided before and after the event.
