Race for Remembrance - 9/11 Tribute Run - Washington DC to New York NY 2026

A four-day running event covering 270 miles from Washington, DC to New York City, departing Alexandria, Virginia on September 8, 2026. Runners will complete four legs: 110 miles on Day 1 through DC, Maryland, and Pennsylvania; 69 miles on Day 2 in Pennsylvania; 87 miles on Day 3 through New Jersey to Staten Island; and 3.6 miles on Day 4 from the Navy Lodge at Fort Wadsworth to the Staten Island Ferry, arriving at Zuccotti Park before 8:46 a.m. Registration includes four nights of hotel accommodations (September 8–12), van transportation and support, a dry-fit shirt in red, white, or blue, water and snacks, and participation benefits the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Runners must wear a full reflective running vest during twilight and night running.
