Race2Unravel 2026

The race.

Race2Unravel takes place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in Gilroy, California, benefiting childhood cancer research. The event offers a 10K, 5K, and 5K Ruck Division (with 30 lb minimum for men, 20 lb for women), plus youth divisions and a Kids Fun Run (just over ¼ mile for ages 2–12). The course starts at Christmas Hill Park (Ranch Side) and follows the Uvas Creek Levee Trail through Uvas Creek Levee Park Preserve—primarily flat and fully paved with marked turnarounds. Top three finishers in each division receive medals, as do all Kids Fun Run participants. Registration closes August 21 at 3 p.m., with same-day registration available until 7:30 a.m. on race day; register by July 31 to guarantee a t-shirt. Participants must bring their own water bottle (cupless race); strollers permitted but start toward back.
