RAIDER STAMPEDE 2026

The race.

The Raider Stampede is a 1-mile cross country race held October 13, 2026, at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama, open to Pre-K through 6th grade students from public, private, and homeschool programs. Race start times range from 4:00 PM (Pre-K and K) through 5:30 PM (6th grade), with grade levels racing separately. Registration costs $10 per person plus fees and closes online October 9 at 11:59 PM CST; day-of registration is also available until 30 minutes before each race starts. Participants who register in advance receive a commemorative shirt, and all finishers earn a custom medal. Team scoring combines the top three finishers from each school by grade level, with awards presented at ceremonies following the races. Parents may run alongside Pre-K and 1st grade participants but must not cross the finish line.
