About the race
The race.
Raising the Barr is a timed ultra race held in Brighton, Colorado on September 5, 2026. Participants choose from 6-hour or 12-hour solo options, or relay formats with 2–3 people (ultra) or 4–8 people (standard). The course consists of 10-mile loops around a lake for the majority of the race, transitioning to 1-mile loops in the final hours. All participants receive a bib, t-shirt, and post-race meal.
