Rhino Run 2026

The race.

The Rhino Run 5K/2K takes place September 26, 2026, on the Gaston College campus in Dallas, NC, with both events starting and finishing at Wyss Tower. The 5K run begins at 9:00 AM and the 2K walk at 9:15 AM. Packet pickup is available Thursday, September 24 from noon to 5:00 PM at the Beam Administration Building, or race day from 7:30–8:15 AM at Wyss Tower. Participants registered for the 5K by September 7, 2025, receive a race-day t-shirt; 2K walkers may purchase one at registration through the same deadline. The 5K features awards for overall male and female winners, plus top-three finishers in age categories ranging from 12 and under through 70 and up. All registration proceeds benefit the Gaston College Foundation Fund.
