The race.
The Rocketman Triathlon 2026, presented by Team Rocket Tri Club, takes place August 30, 2026, at Carrol D Hudson Recreation Area on Redstone Arsenal in Laceys Springs, Alabama. The event features an Olympic distance course: a 1500-meter swim, 40-kilometer bike ride, and 10-kilometer run. Participants start and finish at the recreation area. Race day access to Redstone Arsenal requires either a valid Department of Defense ID card or completion of visitor pre-registration through the registration process. Non-DoD personnel without existing access may apply for a yearly recreation badge at the Visitor Control Center outside Gate 9 prior to the event.
