Run Caney takes place December 12, 2026, near Minden, Louisiana, featuring loop courses around Upper Caney Lake in the Kisatchie National Forest. Participants can choose from eight distances: 5K, 3 miles, 5 miles, 6 miles, 10K, 10 miles, 12 miles, or 20 kilometers. Overall male and female winners in each race distance receive awards, and age group winners receive handmade ornaments. The day use fee is covered by the organizer.
