The race.
The Run for PB&J 5K/10K offers three wave start times beginning at 7:30 a.m. on August 15, 2026, in New York City. Participants receive a technical running shirt (shipped prior to race day), finisher's medal, finisher's towel or giveaway, digital training pack, and online certificate of completion. Timing is optional; runners may track their own times using personal apps or request coordinator assistance. Both in-person and virtual run options are available, with the virtual option allowing participants to complete the race anytime and anywhere. The event welcomes all ages and paces, including walkers, with participants under 18 able to run with a guardian.
