The race.
Run for the Acorns takes place October 4, 2026, at Genesee County Park & Forest in East Bethany, NY. Participants can choose from a 10K run, 5K run/walk, or 2-person 10K relay on forest trails featuring single and double-track paths, creek sections, and rolling terrain with approximately 100 feet of elevation gain on the 10K course. The courses begin on asphalt before entering wooded trails marked for safety. All proceeds benefit ACORNS, a nonprofit supporting Genesee County parks through outdoor education and recreation, with a portion of proceeds donated to breast cancer research.
