Run for the Bagel takes place Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Mattoon, Illinois, organized by Alex Swango. Participants can choose a 1-mile, 3.1-mile, or 6.2-mile walk or run starting at 6:30 a.m. at KC Summers Toyota. The course winds through Lytle Park and around Mattoon. All runners who register by June 28th receive a race shirt, and Lender's Bagels are available at the finish line. Awards go to overall male and female finishers and top three finishers in each gender and age group category.
