The race.
Run the Runway takes place September 13, 2026, at Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport in Weyers Cave, VA. The event includes a 1K Fun Run for children at 2pm and a 5K run/walk on the airport taxiway and runway at 2:30pm, with chip timing. The flat, paved course is stroller and wheelchair accessible. Proceeds benefit Explore More Discovery Museum's aviation exhibit.
