Run/Walk for the Greenway 5K & Fun Run 2026

The Run/Walk for the Greenway 5K & Fun Run takes place July 18, 2026, in Salisbury, NC at Overton School, located at 1825 Park Road West. The 5K starts at 8:00 AM and the half-mile Fun Run begins at 8:45 AM. The 5K course follows streets and a greenway path; the Fun Run is an out-and-back route on the greenway. Entry is $25 pre-registration ($30 race day) for the 5K and $10 for the Fun Run (ages 8 and under). All pre-registered 5K participants receive dry-fit t-shirts; Fun Run participants receive cotton t-shirts. Awards include $25 Downtown Salisbury Dollars for top overall male and female 5K finishers, medals for top three in each age group (9/Under through 70/Over), and medals for all Fun Run participants ages 8 and under. Walkers are eligible for age group awards. Participants who donate canned goods or used running shoes to Rowan Helping Ministries may win $50 in Downtown Salisbury Dollars.
