Run with the Fishes Annual 5K, 10K, & Kids' Fun Run 2026

The race.

Run With the Fishes takes place on September 27, 2026, at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah, with races starting at 9:30 a.m. Participants can choose a 5K or 10K, both featuring a course that winds along Lake Sammamish's shoreline, crosses SE 56th Street past soccer fields and Costco, and includes dirt trail sections along Issaquah Creek with two creek crossings. A 1K Kids' Fun Run begins approximately one hour after the main race start. Early registration by June 30 costs $40; July registration is $45; and late registration from August 1 onward is $50, with the kids' run at $20. All participants receive a long-sleeved event shirt, finishers earn age-group awards, and post-race activities include food trucks, live music, and a beer garden. A Washington Parks Discover Parking Pass is required.
