Runway 5K – Run for the Angels is a 5K race and walk held on September 26, 2026, in Broomfield, Colorado, with proceeds benefiting Angel Flight West. The in-person race starts at 8:30 a.m. at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport on a flat runway course. In-person participants receive a race t-shirt and commemorative flight pin; registration is $40 for adults, $25 for seniors 60+, and $10 for children under 13. A virtual option allows participants to complete the 5K anywhere between September 26 and October 4, with results due by October 4 at 11:59 p.m. MST; virtual registration costs $25 for adults and seniors, $10 for children. Virtual participants receive a commemorative flight pin by mail. In-person registration by September 4 guarantees shirt size selection; later registrations may not include a shirt.
