Sandhill Shuffle 5k Run/Walk 2026

The race.

The Sandhill Shuffle 5K takes place September 26, 2026, in Wheatfield, IN, starting and finishing at Centennial Park. The 3.1-mile course runs through town streets. Race day registration and packet pickup begin at 7:00 AM, with registration closing at 7:45 AM and the race starting at 8:00 AM. Awards are presented by gender and age division (10 and under through 80+), as well as by overall, masters, Athena, Clydesdale, and non-binary categories. Registration is open online through September 24 at 11:00 PM; early registration before September 7 includes a race t-shirt. Entry fees are $25 for adults (15+) and $15 for youth (14 and under), increasing to $30 for adults on September 1. All race proceeds benefit the Centennial Park playground project.
