About the race
The race.
The Gobbler Classic 5K Run/Walk takes place on November 26, 2026, at Faith Church in Dyer, Indiana. Participants can run or walk the 5K distance, with check-in from 7:00 to 7:45 a.m. and the race starting at 8:00 a.m. Age-group awards are presented to male and female winners in 13 categories ranging from 9 and under to 65 and older, plus overall male and female winners. Complimentary food and beverages are available after the race, and finisher shirts are provided to the first 1,050 participants. Packet pickup is offered November 24–25 from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. Proceeds benefit local food pantries in Faith Church communities.
