Festivus 5K Run 2026

The race.

The Festivus 5K takes place on December 13, 2026, in Chesterton, Indiana, hosted by Race the Region at Running Vines Winery (101 Broadway). The 5K course features chip timing and directional signs at all turns. Packet pickup is available December 11–12 at Extra Mile Fitness Company in Valparaiso, or race morning starting at 7:00 a.m. at the venue. Finishers receive a custom medal and certificate, with age group and overall awards including miniature Festivus Poles for top finishers across multiple age categories (10 & under through 75+). Live results are texted and emailed to participants, and a complete standings list updates continuously at www.thtiming.com during the race. Registration must be completed by November 17 to guarantee race shirt availability.
