About the race
The race.
Santa's Reindeer Run takes place on December 20, 2026, at Bolsa Chica State Beach, Lot 25 in Huntington Beach, CA. The event includes a half marathon (13.2 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), 5K (3.1 miles), family 1-mile run, kids 400-yard dash, and a Santa Paws doggie parade. The half marathon starts at 7:30 AM, with the 5K and 10K beginning at 8:30 AM, the family mile at 9:00 AM, and the kids dash at 9:30 AM. Bib pickup and same-day registration open at 6:45 AM. All finishers receive a medal, free race-day photos, and finish-line refreshments. Overall and age group awards go to the top three finishers in each distance. Parking is $15 per vehicle at the state park lot, with free parking available nearby in Sunset Beach.
