About the race
The race.
Califlow Runs presents the Witches Wave Halloween Run on October 18, 2026, at Bolsa Chica State Beach (Lot 25) in Huntington Beach, CA. Runners can choose from a 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), half marathon (13.1 miles), or 200-yard distance. Race day packet pickup begins at 7:00 AM, with the half marathon starting at 7:30 AM and both the 10K and 5K starting at 8:30 AM. All finishers receive medals, and age group awards go to top finishers in each distance. Additional activities include a costume contest, witch's cackle showdown competition, and finish line festivities with DJ entertainment, candy station, photo ops, dance-off, and pumpkin ring toss.
