Seattle Kraken 5K 2026

The race.

The Seattle Kraken 5K takes place October 3, 2026, at Green Lake Park in Seattle. The event features a 5K run/walk, a 200-meter kids dash, and a virtual 5K option. Proceeds benefit the Kraken Hockey Fights Cancer Fund. Pre-race packet pickup is available September 30–October 2 at three locations: Super Jock and Jill Greenlake, Brooks Trailhead, and Kraken Community Iceplex. Race day begins with shuttles at 7:30 a.m. and registration at 8:00 a.m., with the kids dash at 9:00 a.m. and nine staggered 5K waves starting at 9:30 a.m. Finishers receive a medal and race shirt. A beer garden operates from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and awards are presented at 10:30 a.m. Virtual participants receive a bib, shirt, and medal by mail; virtual registration closes September 15.
